After winning the T20I series and unfortunately losing the ODI’s, India is slated to start the last leg of England Tour on 1st August. Meanwhile the English team looks a bit more scared than usual because of their miss-firing middle order and controversial inclusions to the team. This series is a good opportunity for India to acclimatise & can be helpful for next years World Cup as India is slated to play their World Cup matches on few of the Test Series venues. Talking about both the sides India look more confident & balanced than the English side and is far more experienced than England.
The match will be played at Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham. The pitch is likely to be on a slower side, due to ongoing heat wave across England this summer plus the series tis time starts very late as compared to previous ones. So, all-in-all it is likely to favour spinners than pacers.
