The date of IPL 2020 Auctions are reportedly to happen on December 19th at Kolkata. As per ESPN Cricinfo the Trade Window which has been quite busier than last year will close on 14th November and the franchises have been informed about it. While the Auctions are expected to be held on 19 December and the season may start from 6 or 7 April rather than March like last year.
The teams have a purse of Rs 85 Crore i.e. Rs 3 Crore more than last season. Also, they can use the amount which remained unused during IPL 2019 Auctions which means Delhi Capitals who have Rs 8.2 Crore left from last Auctions tops the list while Virat Kohli led Royal Challengers Banaglore have only Rs 1.8 Crore thus they have least funds than the other 8 teams.
Whereas Ms.Dhoni led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have 3.2 Crore and they have a well set squad too. Plus as per sources they are expected to make least changes to their squad and will maintain the core.
