Today, in a official message to BCCI, the ICC has requested the Indian Wicket-Keeper & Former Captain Ms.Dhoni to remove his keeping gloves and has barred him from wearing them.
Actually, MS Dhoni was spotted carrying an insignia of the Indian Paramilitary forces on his wicket-keeping gloves. He has been awarded an honorary rank in the Indian Army. As per reports, he wore those gloves as a mark of tribute & respect to the Indian Paramilitary & Armed Forces.
This action by ICC has not been received by Indian Fans in a good-way, most of them are upset by this ruling and further some reports suggest that this action has been taken after Pakistan made a complaint.
India will next play Australia on Sunday at Oval, London. Also, Mr. Vinod Rai said in a statement that BCCI has already filed a request for clearance in the matter.
