Prithvi Shaw is now a household name and most of you may know him and a bit about him but you might not know his story. Born on 9 November in year 1999, Prithvi a Right-Handed Top Order batsman, like any other Mumbai cricketer started playing at a very young age and captained the Rizvi Springfield High School team and Mumbai under-16 team in his career so far and he plays for Middle Income group Cricket Club and further Captained India under-19 Team which eventually won the World Cup. In November 2013 he had set the highest score by any batsman in any organised form of cricket since 1901 when he hit 546 in a Harris Shield elite division match which was later broken by Pranav Dhanawade in 2016. Shaw has earned a deal worth Rs 36 lakh with SG. Taking a peek into his personal life, his father Mr. Pankaj Shaw hails from Gaya, Bihar & Prithvi lost his mother at a very young age of 4 years. He has been sponsored by Indian Oil in past. He plays for Delhi Daredevils in IPL and also became the youngest player to open the innings in IPL (age 18 year 165 days).

He made his first-class debut for Mumbai Cricket Team in the semi-finals of the 2016–17 Ranji Trophy & scored a century in the second innings further ended up getting the Man of the Match award. He also scored a century in his debut match of the Duleep Trophy. He recently reached another milestone by scoring a century in his debut Test against Windies at Rajkot, thus becoming the first Indian Cricketer to achieve this feet. He has also won the man of the match award in his debut Test and man of the series award in his debut series against Windies by scoring a total of 237 runs in 2 innings with top score of 134 including a hundred & fifty at an average of 118.5. With a strong performance like this, it is confirmed that he will feature in the upcoming  overseas tour of Australia & New Zealand.
