So, after a gap of exact 13 days, the Men in Blue are back for their first Home Series after the World Cup Heartbreak. The team will take on South Africa in a 3 match T20I series followed by a 3 match Test Series in a one & half month long tour. India will miss the services of Veteran Wicket-Keeper Ms.Dhoni while South Africa axed Faf Du Plessis, Imran Tahir & Lungi Ngidi from the squad along Morris. On Comparing both sides, India look more balanced & confident with likes of Rohit, Virat & Hardik in the set-up. Also, this will be the first series for Vikram Rathour as India’s batting coach. While the conditions in Dharamshala are expected to be fine for a cracker-jacker of a game. To add more fun & excitement with the fact, India has never won a T20I series against South Africa at home.

Pitch- The match will be played at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association (HPCA) Stadium, Dharamshala. The pitch here is likely to favour batsman but expect some swing for pacers at start.

South Africa – Eventually the World Cup Heartbreak was too much for Proteas that they dropped their most valuable player/captain Faf Du Plessis and relatively young side without likes of Ngidi & Steyn will feature in the series with De Kock as Captain & Rassie Van der Dussen his deputy.

The likes of Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya & Ravindra Jadeja are confirmed to form the lower middle-order, while Rishab Pant is likely to have this series as his last chance and might get removed from team in favour of Ishan Kishan.
